Privacy Policy

Introduction
BLUUS CLUB Baden takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and this privacy policy.
The controller responsible for data processing is BLUUS CLUB Baden, Schlossbergweg 2, 5400 Baden, Switzerland, info@bluusclub.ch.
Hosting and server logs
This website is operated by our hosting partner (servers located in Europe). When you open a page, information transmitted by your browser is stored automatically: browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, the address requested and a shortened IP address.
This data is required for the secure and stable operation of the website (legitimate interest), is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies of its own for advertising or analytics. Technically necessary information — such as your chosen language — may be stored locally in your browser; it never leaves your device.
Embedded third-party content (see below) may set its own cookies once you start it. As long as you do not start such an element, these providers do not set cookies that recognise you.
Contact and membership forms
When you contact us through a form or apply for membership, we process the data you provide (first and last name, email address, for membership your address and the membership you chose, and your message) in order to handle your request and to administer the association. In the form you confirm that you have read this privacy policy; we store this confirmation together with the time of submission.
The data is stored in our contact management system (CRM), which a processor operates for us on servers located in Switzerland. You will receive a confirmation email from us. We do not pass the data on to third parties without your consent. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply; member data is processed for the duration of the membership.
Newsletter
You only receive our newsletter if you expressly sign up for it: through our newsletter form or by ticking the optional box “Yes, I would like to receive the BLUUS CLUB Baden newsletter” in a contact or membership form. Without this tick we do not use the data from our forms for the newsletter.
We also keep members informed by email about concerts and association matters. You can object to this at any time.
To send the newsletter we process your email address and your name in our CRM. To document your consent we store when and through which form you signed up. Sign-ups through the newsletter form use the double opt-in procedure: we only add you to the distribution list after you have clicked the link in the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter or by emailing info@bluusclub.ch.
Embedded content (YouTube, Spotify, maps)
On concert pages we sometimes embed content from third-party providers. It is only loaded when the relevant page is opened, and the provider learns your IP address in the process.
- YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.): videos are embedded exclusively in privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com. Google does not set recognition cookies as long as you do not start the video.
- Spotify (Spotify AB, Sweden): music players are embedded through Spotify's embed service.
- Map sections: where a map is embedded, it is provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.). Where we only link to a map, data is transmitted when you click the link.
The providers' own privacy policies apply to their data processing. Transfer to countries outside Switzerland and the EEA — in particular to the USA — cannot be ruled out.
Ticket sales
We do not sell tickets ourselves. The ticket links on this website lead to external advance booking services (in particular Eventfrog). As soon as you follow such a link, that provider's privacy policy applies; we receive no personal data from them apart from the attendance lists needed at the box office.
Audience measurement
Should we use audience measurement, it will be integrated via Google Tag Manager and added to this policy. As of the version stated above, no audience measurement is active.
Data security
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Only the board members responsible have access to contact and member data.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you, as well as the right to rectification, deletion or restriction of processing and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
Please contact info@bluusclub.ch. Legal remedies also remain open to you; the competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements and reflects the features of the website. The version published on this page applies.
